University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music invites string musicians of all levels and all ages to participate in Pacific String Day. It will be an exciting and immersive day of mini-lessons, workshops and performances for students and teachers of violin, viola, cello, double bass and guitar. University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music invites string musicians of all ages and experience levels to Pacific String Day, an engaging day of music-making, learning and community for violin, viola, cello, double bass and guitar students. Participants will hear Pacific faculty and students in performance, take part in master classes and workshops, meet current Pacific students and make music together in a string orchestra workshop. The day also includes time for lunch and conversation on our campus. Following String Day, participants and guests are invited to attend a 2:30 p.m. concert by the internationally acclaimed Ying Quartet.
