Students, coaches, and teachers from more than a dozen schools throughout San Joaquin County are invited to join us for the annual Avinash Raina High School Math Competition at University of the Pacific’s Stockton campus. Students will compete in a series of individual exams across four levels of mathematics, from geometry to calculus. This competition is made possible through a donation from the Avinash Raina Foundation, established in memory of Avinash Raina, a Stagg High School student who demonstrated exceptional math skills and a passion for speech and journalism. We are grateful to Avinash's parents, who established the math competition, as well as scholarships for journalism and speech students at Stagg High School, in order to honor their son's legacy.

Avinash Math Competition Level

What level math test will you be taking?

Level 1 is for students currently enrolled in a Geometry course or Integrated Math II. (Geometry Standards)
Level 2 is for students currently enrolled in an Algebra II or Integrated Math III course. (Algebra II Standards)
Level 3 is for students currently enrolled in a Math Analysis, Trigonometry or Pre-Calculus course. (Trigonometry and Mathematical Analysis Standards)
Level 4 is for students currently enrolled in a Calculus course (AB or BC). (Calculus Standards 1.0 – 22.0: No sequences and series)
